Ben and Kay extend a warm welcome to all visitors to this website.  We hope you enjoy our writing and that you will let us know how we can improve your life as a reader through our writing.

If it is poetry that you crave, please let Ben know what subjects you would like him to consider as he conjures up his next set of poetic lines.  He enjoys the simple subjects of life in the wilderness as well as in the urban setting.  He gets a special enjoyment from writing poems about doctors and health care professionals who have treated him over the years for everything from cataracts to gout.  Be sure to read his poems posted on this website to get the essence of his approach.

Ben and Kay write fiction.  Ben’s historical fiction novel, “Don’t Call Me Madam“, is now available on Amazon.com books.  Be sure and order your copy today.  Kay is putting the finishing touches on her novel titled, “The Asbestos Wives”, a fictional account of five wives all married (and then divorced) from their attorney husbands who practiced asbestos litigation, and all of whom left their wives for younger women, often young lawyers or paralegals in their firms.

Ben and Kay live in Woodland Park, Colorado, a small mountain hamlet located approximately eighteen miles west of Colorado Springs on state highway 24.  They are surrounded by evergreens and aspen and mule deer so tame you can almost hand feed them.  This location inspires B & K in their freelance writing adventures.
